About Avalon

Arthurian legend tells of Avalon; a mythical island paradise of magic, and harmony. Avalon symbolized the sacred gateway between worlds, a threshold accessed only through with gestures of great courage and faith. Not only was Avalon was a place of wisdom and worship, it is where King Arthur’s Excalibur sword (the ultimate symbol for responsibility, leadership and power) was forged and where the King was eventually laid to rest.

Avalon calls us to serve. Kelley Oswin

(she/her)

A Helper in the truest sense, Kelley Oswin is the heart of Avalon Empowerment. With a degree in Social Work and 19 years experience in the field, she got a taste of powerful coaching modalities like those we now teach and she knew there was no turning back. As a trauma informed licensed professional, she's developed Avalon’s Trauma Conscious Coaching and Coach Supervision platform. Avalon has become a force for positive change in the industry and this is thanks to Kelley's dedication to bridging the gap between traditional therapy and transformational coaching. Her capacity to hold space and her cool big sister vibe makes her everyone's favourite coach and a blessing to work with!

Laura Slinn

Laura Cargill Slinn is the backbone of Avalon Empowerment. Laura sees students' magic (often before they do) and is Avalon's resident visionary. Her own journey through infertility led her to this work as a client first. She experienced spontaneous healing and the miracle of motherhood and it inspired her to leave a successful career in marketing and creative direction and go all in on her dream of becoming a coach. 11 years later she's working with Kelley and the Avalon team to forge a new paradigm for coaching with those ready to step into their leadership, purpose, and abundance. Together they are awakening and raising the consciousness of the world.

Ernie Pavan

(he/him)

It all started with Ernie Pavan. And not just because he's a big Arthurian legend buff (which he totally is). Laura and Kelley met Ernie as clients first and the work they did changed their lives. Passionate about education, transformation, and program development, his contribution to Avalon courses and certifications, especially as creator of Avalon's highly sought after Quantum Change Process™, is immense. Although Ernie is enjoying retirement and dedicating his time to pursuing the next level of his continued evolvement, he is still a prominent member of the Avalon community. A magnificent storyteller, he's always willing to indulge in a metaphor so stay tuned for the next tale.
